Students ready for class

Romans examines the New Testament book of the same name. Written by Paul of Tarsus, Romans today is the paramount text explaining the Christian faith and the responsibilities of living in the world as a Christian. Seminars cost $50. Student taking this class will:

  • Identify the author of Romans
  • Identify the context in which the letter was written to the church in Rome
  • Understand the back story of Paul's writing
  • Learn the applications of the letter to the modern day reader

Unity in the Christian Church

Unity is a theme carried in many New Testament books. Many would argue that the Christian church is not unified. What does Romans say about the following:

  • Different denominations?
  • Political groups within a church body?
  • Fights for leadership?
  • The role of Christians in the secular world?
